Proof Camera App ("we", "our", or "us") is designed with a strict local-first architecture. We respect your privacy and believe that personal risk-hedging evidence should remain entirely under your personal control.
2. Data Collection & Zero Cloud Storage
- No Remote Servers: We do not operate remote backend servers to collect, upload, or store your photos, videos, metadata, or cryptographic proof bundles.
- Device Processing: All hashing (SHA-256), timestamping, and package export operations occur locally in your device's memory and local storage.
3. Android Permission Scopes
In compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies, runtime permissions are requested strictly for core feature execution:
- Camera & Microphone: Used exclusively at the moment of capture to generate photos, videos, and tamper-resistant cryptographic packages.
- Precise Location: Used solely to embed location coordinates into the local evidence manifest at capture time.
- Storage: Used to save generated .ZIP proof packages directly to your device.
